UK BAOR - Tactical Signs, 1980s, Armoured Squadrons, 20mm
UK BAOR - Tactical Signs, 1980s, Armoured Squadrons, 20mm
Decals for UK British Army of the Rhine (BAOR) armoured squadron tactical signs for the 1980s.
In the 1980s, the UK modified their armoured callsigns to be all yellow and retain the different symbols for each respective squadron (e.g., A SQN is a triangle). This change simplified the callsigns and modified the numbering in hopes to make it harder for OPFOR to understand.
Each Squadron (A, B, C, D) has their own symbol shape.
- 1 Troop: Starts with the number "10"
- 2 Troop: Starts with the number "20"
- Each Troop's Command Vehicles are 0A,B,C etc.
